Despite being one of the founders of the Premiership, back in 1991, Norwich found it hard to establish themselves as integral part of the top level of English football.
After a great spell, seeing them finishing 3rd in 1991/92 season and beating Bayern Munich in the UEFA Cup, Norwich suffered relegation in the 1994/95 season and struggled ever since (excluding one year in the top flight which ended with a 6-0 defeat to Fulham on the last day of the season).
After a poor opening to the 2007/08 season, Glenn Roeder was appointed as manager and guided Norwich to safety. He will have to try and do better this season, as Norwich consider themsleves as promotion candidates.
Bottom Line: 2007/08 saw The Canaries either win or lose, with only 10 draws under their belt. Losing 21 matches is way too much for a side such as Norwich.
